Marlin 6: Personal & beach safety, Safe entry, swim 5m of a selection of strokes, treading water, turning from front to back in the water, handstand in the water.

Marlin 7: Personal & beach safety, Safe entry, swim 8m of a selection of strokes, treading water, pick up objects from the bottom.

Marlin 8: Personal & beach safety, Safe entry, swim 10m of a selection of strokes, treading water out of candidates depth, head first surface dive, sculling, inverted breaststroke.

Marlin 9: Personal, farm & beach safety, Safe entry, swim 15m of a selection of strokes, treading water out of candidates depth 30 sec, feet first surface dive, demonstrate sculling, inverted breaststroke, butterfly, side stroke.

Marlin 10:  Personal, & beach safety, Safe entry, swim 20m of a selection of strokes, treading water out of candidates depth 1 minute, head first surface dive & swim underwater for 2m, demonstrate sculling, inverted breaststroke, butterfly, side stroke
